After Sue is forced to quit the school's cross-country team due to budget cuts, she needs to find a way to raise money so she can continue participating in the sport. Inspired by her grandfather's love for his paper route, she decides to take on her own route to earn the money she needs. Meanwhile, Axl and Brick argue over the best way to proceed with obtaining a new smart TV for their room, but soon find themselves in hot water when their father discovers they've been using his credit card without permission. Frankie, overwhelmed by her kids' bickering and misbehavior, seeks solace in bonding with her new co-worker at the car dealership.
