Ep 1. The Hotel

In the season 2 premiere of The Mick titled "The Hotel," we see the main character, Mickey, struggling to make ends meet after her wealthy sister, who was supposed to send her monthly checks, cut her off. Desperate for money, Mickey decides to rent out her luxurious childhood home on Airbnb to a group of wealthy travelers who are in town for a music festival. Excited about the potential earnings, Mickey eagerly prepares the house for her guests, which includes setting up a high-end cocktail bar.

However, things quickly go awry when the travelers arrive and turn out to be a rowdy group of party animals who completely trash the house and steal all of Mickey's possessions, including her valuable jewelry. In a panic, Mickey calls in her sister for help, but gets turned down once again, as her sister has no interest in bailing her out of another mess. Left with no other choice, Mickey and her band of misfit family members team up to track down the thieves and get their belongings back.

Throughout the episode, we get to see each family member's unique personality and how they work together to solve problems. Chip, the eldest of the three siblings, proves to be a genius when it comes to technology, using his skills to track down the thieves' location. Sabrina, the teenage daughter, is hesitant to help at first, but eventually comes around and uses her quick thinking to distract the thieves while the rest of the family sneaks up on them. Lastly, Ben, the youngest of the bunch, is just happy to be along for the ride and has some surprisingly funny moments throughout the episode.

Despite the chaos and destruction caused by the visitors, the family manages to come out on top and retrieve their stolen items. Mickey even makes an unexpected connection with one of the thieves, who was just looking for a place to belong. In the end, the family comes together to clean up the mess and reflect on their crazy adventure.

Overall, "The Hotel" is a fast-paced and hilarious episode that showcases the strengths and weaknesses of each character while highlighting the importance of family and sticking together in tough times.
