Patrick Jane, played by Simon Baker, is back and better than ever in this action-packed new episode of The Mentalist, season 6, episode 19 titled "Brown Eyed Girls." As usual, Jane is on the case, helping the California Bureau of Investigation solve a complex crime.
The episode starts off with a bang – literally – as an explosion erupts in a local electronics store. The CBI is called to the scene, and Jane and his team quickly get to work trying to piece together what happened.
As they investigate the explosion, they discover that it was no accident – in fact, it was a deliberate act of arson. The team is led to believe that the perpetrator is someone who was unhappy with the way the store was being run, and who wanted to exact revenge on the owner.
But as they dig deeper, they realize that this case may be more complicated than they originally thought. In a surprising twist, they discover that the real motive behind the crime may have had more to do with the victim's personal life than anything else.
Throughout the episode, Jane and the rest of the CBI team work tirelessly to uncover the truth. Along the way, there are plenty of suspenseful moments, heart-pumping action scenes, and unexpected plot twists.
As always, Simon Baker delivers an exceptional performance as Patrick Jane – the mastermind behind the team's investigations. He's equal parts charming and cunning, and his quick wit and razor-sharp intuition are on full display in this episode.
But while Jane is undoubtedly the star of the show, the rest of the cast shines as well. Robin Tunney, who plays Agent Teresa Lisbon, is particularly impressive in this episode. She brings a depth and nuance to her character that is truly compelling to watch.
Overall, "Brown Eyed Girls" is an excellent episode of The Mentalist. It's gripping, entertaining, and filled with all the drama and suspense fans of the show have come to expect. And with its expertly crafted plot and strong performances from the entire cast, it's sure to keep viewers on the edge of their seats from beginning to end.
