Oh Brother/Panfake is the twelfth episode of the first season of The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack. The episode begins with K'nuckles going to Flapjack's house to warn him that his brother, T'K'nuckles, is coming to visit him. Flapjack is thrilled to hear that he has a brother and eagerly waits for him to arrive. However, K'nuckles warns Flapjack that T'K'nuckles is nothing like him and is not interested in friendship.
When T'K'nuckles arrives, he is revealed to be a tough, rough, and ill-tempered sailor who is not interested in anything that Flapjack likes. T'K'nuckles immediately orders Flapjack to prepare dinner for him, which Flapjack does enthusiastically. However, T'K'nuckles complains about how the food tastes and insults Flapjack's cooking skills, which upsets him. Flapjack tries to understand his brother and accepts his behaviour, but T'K'nuckles continues to be abusive towards him.
The story then shifts to Captain K'nuckles, who is seen walking along the beach when he comes across a man named Panfake. Panfake tricks K'nuckles into buying a magical Pan flute, which he claims will bring Captain K'nuckles good luck. However, K'nuckles soon discovers that the Pan flute is cursed, and the only way to break the curse is to play it continuously for several hours.
Back at the house, Flapjack tries to bond with his brother by talking to him about his dreams and aspirations. However, T'K'nuckles dismisses Flapjack's ideas and tells him that he will never be a good sailor and will never be able to leave Stormalong Harbor. Flapjack becomes disheartened and believes everything his brother says, which causes him to lose his confidence.
Meanwhile, Captain K'nuckles continues to play the cursed Pan flute, which begins to affect the town around him. The Pan flute causes the trees to grow and the sky to turn green. The town starts to panic, and everyone blames Captain K'nuckles for causing the chaos.
Back at Flapjack's house, T'K'nuckles reveals that he has stolen Flapjack's dream jar, which contains all of his hopes and dreams. T'K'nuckles taunts Flapjack and tells him that he will never achieve his dreams, which causes Flapjack to become very emotional. However, Flapjack soon realizes that the only person who can make his dreams come true is himself. He confronts his brother and challenges him to a race around the world, which will prove who the better sailor is.
The episode then reaches its climax as Captain K'nuckles and Flapjack race to break the curse of the Pan flute and retrieve Flapjack's dream jar. The race takes them all around the world, and they encounter several obstacles along the way. However, with determination and perseverance, Flapjack wins the race and retrieves his dream jar.
In the end, Captain K'nuckles breaks the cursed Pan flute by throwing it into the ocean. Flapjack learns an important lesson about confidence and self-belief and realizes that he doesn't need his brother's approval to achieve his dreams. The episode ends with Flapjack and K'nuckles sailing off into the sunset, happy and content.
Oh Brother/Panfake is a heartwarming and entertaining episode that explores themes of sibling relationships, self-belief, and perseverance. It is an excellent addition to the first season of The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack and is sure to entertain audiences of all ages.
