Lucy Gets Amnesia is the fourth episode of season three of the classic sitcom The Lucy Show. In this episode, the lovable Lucy Carmichael (played by Lucille Ball) suffers a head injury and wakes up with amnesia, unable to remember anything about her life.

The episode starts off with Lucy taking a spill down the stairs at the bank where she works. She hits her head and is rushed to the hospital where she is diagnosed with amnesia. When she wakes up, she doesn't recognize anyone around her, including her best friend and roommate Viv (Vivian Vance).

Lucy's memory loss leads to a series of comical and confusing events. She mistakes a male nurse for her husband and tries to kiss him, much to his surprise. She also tries to escape from the hospital and wanders around town calling herself "Lulu".

Meanwhile, back at home, Viv is frantically trying to help Lucy regain her memory. She brings in a parade of Lucy's friends and acquaintances, each with their own stories of their history together, but none of them seem to jog Lucy's memory.

In one of the funniest scenes of the episode, Lucy mistakes a wealthy man, who happens to be a patient in the same hospital, for her uncle. Thinking he owes her a large sum of money, she convinces him to take her to dinner, all the while trying to remember who he is and why he owes her money.

As the episode progresses, Lucy becomes more and more frustrated with her inability to remember anything. She confides in a psychiatrist who suggests that she needs to create new memories to help spark her old ones. Lucy takes this to heart and decides to go on a wild adventure to try to make new memories and hopefully regain her old ones.

The episode culminates in a hilarious scene where Lucy, thinking she is a famous celebrity impersonator, performs a wild and crazy dance routine in a local club. It's a scene that will have audiences laughing out loud.

In the end, Lucy's memory is restored, and she's back to her old self, much to the relief of her friends and family. This episode is a classic example of the zany and comedic hijinks that made The Lucy Show such a beloved TV series. It's a must-see for fans of the show and anyone who loves classic sitcoms.
