The Love Boat season 8 episode 10, titled "By Hook or By Crook/Revenge With the Proper Stranger/Don't Get Mad, Get Even," features three separate storylines that intersect aboard the Pacific Princess cruise ship.
In the first storyline, a professional thief named Harry (played by Michael Callan) attempts to pull off a high-stakes heist while on board the ship. However, his plans are derailed when he falls for a fellow passenger named Susan (played by Kelly Harmon). As he grapples with his conflicting feelings, Harry must also contend with a nosy detective (played by John Schuck) who is hot on his trail.
The second storyline revolves around a woman named Gina (played by Linda Purl), who seeks revenge on her former fiance (played by John Beck) after he breaks off their engagement. With the help of her friend Judy (played by Leslie Charleson), Gina hatches a plan to make her ex jealous by pretending to be in a relationship with a handsome stranger (played by Ken Olandt). However, things become complicated when Gina starts to develop real feelings for her new beau.
The final storyline centers on a newlywed couple named Kevin and Julie (played by Scott Baio and Erin Moran) whose honeymoon is marred by constant bickering and misunderstandings. Fed up with their constant fighting, the couple decides to see a marriage counselor (played by Connie Stevens) while on board the ship. With the counselor's help, Kevin and Julie begin to work through their issues and learn to communicate more effectively.
As the three storylines unfold, the passengers and crew of the Pacific Princess navigate their way through love, conflict, and intrigue on what promises to be a memorable voyage.
