A group of passengers board the Pacific Princess for a week-long cruise, seeking fun, relaxation, and perhaps some romance. In "Friend of the Family," we meet the Morettis, a wealthy family with a neurotic matriarch who is convinced her young son's new girlfriend is after his money. As tensions rise, the ship's crew must navigate the delicate family dynamics while trying to keep the peace.
In "Affair on Demand," a wealthy businessman hires a beautiful woman to pretend to be his mistress in order to make his wife jealous. However, things don't go quite according to plan when the fake affair becomes all too real. Meanwhile, a young couple struggles with their own complicated relationship, leading to a heart-wrenching decision.
Finally, in "Just Another Pretty Face," a famous model comes on board to shoot a fashion spread, but finds herself falling for an unlikely suitor - the ship's pastry chef. However, her high-maintenance attitude and his own insecurities threaten to keep them apart. Will they find a way to make it work, or will it be just another doomed romance?
As always, the Love Boat's crew - including Captain Stubing, Gopher, Isaac, and Julie - are on hand to offer advice, comfort, and a few laughs along the way. With guest stars like Joan Van Ark, John Beck, and Jan Smithers, this episode offers plenty of drama, romance, and intrigue for fans of the iconic 70s/80s TV series.
