In "Not So Fast, Gopher/Haven't We Met Before?/Seoul Mates," the 22nd episode of the third season of The Love Boat, the passengers and crew of the Pacific Princess find themselves entangled in a series of romantic misadventures on their journey to Seoul, South Korea.
First up is Gopher, the ship's purser, who finds himself smitten with a beautiful passenger named Leslie Lindeman. However, when he tries to take things to the next level, he discovers that she is only interested in using him to make her ex-boyfriend jealous.
Meanwhile, Isaac the bartender is reunited with an old flame named Connie, whom he had a brief fling with years earlier. However, their reunion is complicated by the fact that Connie is now married to a man who disapproves of her spending time with Isaac.
Finally, two passengers named Alice and Ted are surprised to run into each other on the ship, despite having previously crossed paths in a completely different part of the world. As they spend time together, they begin to realize that they have more in common than they initially thought.
As these love triangles and quadrangles unfold, the Pacific Princess continues on its voyage to Seoul, where the passengers will have to decide whether to pursue their newfound romantic connections or go their separate ways. With plenty of drama, humor, and heart, "Not So Fast, Gopher/Haven't We Met Before?/Seoul Mates" is a classic episode of The Love Boat that demonstrates the power of love to bring people together--and occasionally tear them apart.
