In "Rent a Family," a successful businessman named Richard hires a family to join him on the cruise. He hopes that his colleagues will be impressed with his family life and his ability to balance work and leisure. However, when his real family unexpectedly arrives on the ship, Richard must face the consequences of his deception.

Lastly, "The Man in Her Life (1)" introduces us to Connie, a woman who is traveling on the Pacific Princess with her new fiancé, Joseph. However, when Connie's ex-boyfriend, Rick, shows up on the ship, she begins to realize that she may still have feelings for him.

As with all episodes of The Love Boat, the stories intertwine as the characters interact with each other throughout the cruise. With a mix of comedy, drama, and romance, this episode is sure to entertain audiences of all ages.
