Ep 5. Help, Murder/Isaac the Groupie/Mr. Popularity

The Love Boat season 1 episode 5 titled "Help, Murder/Isaac the Groupie/Mr. Popularity" follows the adventures of the passengers and crew aboard the Pacific Princess Cruise ship.

In the first story, a passenger seeks Captain Stubing's help when she believes she witnessed a murder on board the ship. The captain and his crew work together to get to the bottom of the mystery, but it turns out to be more complicated than anyone could have imagined.

Meanwhile, bartender Isaac Washington finds himself in a tough spot when he falls for a beautiful young groupie who is following a rock band that's performing on the cruise. Isaac struggles with whether or not to pursue the girl, knowing that it might not end well for either of them.

In the final story, Gopher Smith, the ship's purser, suddenly becomes Mr. Popularity when he begins dating a wealthy and influential woman on board the ship. He discovers that fame and fortune aren't everything, however, when he realizes that he's more interested in a down-to-earth passenger he met earlier in the voyage.

Throughout the episode, the ship's crew deals with all kinds of challenges as they try to ensure all of their guests have a great time on the cruise. From romance and drama to comedy and mystery, "Help, Murder/Isaac the Groupie/Mr. Popularity" offers something for everyone who loves a good adventure on the high seas.
