Ep 3. Baby Steps/Brawl in the Family

In the third episode of season three of The Loud House, titled "Baby Steps/Brawl in the Family," viewers are treated to two completely different storylines that highlight the chaos and hilarity that comes from living in a household with 11 children.

In Baby Steps, the episode kicks off with Lincoln and Clyde deciding to start a babysitting service, complete with an advertisement, business cards, and even a theme song. However, their first clients turn out to be the most difficult ones yet – Lincoln and Clyde's own sisters. With each sister needing a different level of care and attention, the boys struggle to keep up with the demands. Meanwhile, Mom and Dad leave the house for a much-needed date night, but not before giving the boys a stern warning: no fights, and absolutely no messes.

As one might expect, chaos ensues almost immediately. Lincoln and Clyde quickly realize that caring for their sisters is much more difficult than they anticipated. Lori and Leni require constant attention, Lana and Lola refuse to share their toys, and Lily is just an unpredictable baby who needs never-ending care and attention. While Clyde comes up with some pretty inventive solutions to keep the siblings happy, it quickly becomes apparent that the boys are in way over their heads.

At the same time, an accident involving some peanut butter and jelly sandwiches sets off a chain of events that leads to the entire house being completely trashed. The boys try to hide the mess as best they can, but it's only a matter of time before their parents come home and realize what's happened.

In Brawl in the Family, the second storyline of the episode, the Loud siblings all band together to try and help Lucy's latest venture – writing a family-friendly comic book. With Lincoln as the illustrator and the rest of the family helping with story ideas, Lucy is convinced that her comic book will be a hit. However, things quickly take a turn when the siblings can't seem to agree on anything.

As the family argues over what direction the comic book should take, old grudges and conflicts between the siblings start to resurface. Lynn and Lucy argue over the comic book's storyline, Lola and Lana can't agree on a character design, and Lincoln is caught in the middle, trying to appease everyone. As the arguments get louder and more intense, it's clear that the Loud family may not be able to work together after all.

Things come to a head when Lincoln accidentally tears up Lucy's original comic book drawings. The siblings all turn on him, blaming him for ruining their chance at creating something great. But when Lucy realizes that all of her siblings were just trying to help, she decides to scrap the comic book altogether and start fresh. Together, they create a new comic book that everyone can be proud of.

Overall, "Baby Steps/Brawl in the Family" is a perfect example of what makes The Loud House so great. The show does an excellent job of highlighting the chaos that comes with having such a large family, while still managing to make every character lovable and relatable. With two completely different storylines, this episode is a great showcase of the show's versatility and humor. Whether you're a longtime fan of the series or a newcomer, "Baby Steps/Brawl in the Family" is definitely worth checking out.
