When they arrive, they find that the resort is a paradise for fools, complete with high diving boards, trick mirrors, and a "haunted" house.
Lincoln, who loves playing pranks on his sisters, is thrilled with all of the opportunities for mischief at the resort. He starts out by convincing his sisters that they're staying in a haunted hotel room, but things take a turn for the worse when Lincoln accidentally breaks a mirror and the resort owner, Mr. Bolhofner, tells him that he'll have to pay for it.
Determined to make things right, Lincoln hatches a plan to win the resort's talent show and use the prize money to pay for the broken mirror. He convinces his sister, Luna, to perform one of her original songs, but when Luna comes down with a cold, Lincoln is forced to find a replacement.
After auditioning all of his sisters, Lincoln finally settles on Lori, who he believes has the best chance of winning. But when Lori refuses to participate, Lincoln is forced to come up with a new plan.
Desperate to win the talent show, Lincoln decides to perform a magic trick that he's been practicing. He hires a magician to help him pull off the trick, but when the magician gets sick, Lincoln is once again left without a plan.
Finally, Lincoln realizes that the best way to impress his sisters is to be himself. He takes the stage and performs a hilarious stand-up routine that has his sisters rolling on the floor with laughter.
In the end, Lincoln doesn't win the talent show, but he realizes that he doesn't need to impress his sisters to be happy. The family has a great time at the resort, and Lincoln learns that sometimes the best way to stand out is to just be yourself.
