Ep 23. The Old and the Restless

Lincoln Loud and his family are back in season 2 of The Loud House. In episode 23, titled The Old and the Restless, the Loud family has quite a lot on their plate. He finally takes a hint from his children and goes to the abandoned arcade to play some games and have some fun. He joins in with the group of seniors and finally finds the rest and relaxation he's been looking for.

Back at home, Rita has finally figured out what's wrong with her cookie recipe. It turns out that the recipe she's been using is missing a key ingredient: love. She invites her family into the kitchen to help her make a new batch of cookies, this time with love as the most important ingredient. It's a heartwarming moment that shows just how much the Loud family cares for each other.

The episode ends with Lincoln and his siblings finally finding Ruth, who has been living in a retirement home all along. They bring her back home and throw her a surprise arcade party with the group of seniors they met earlier. It's a fun and joyous ending to an episode that deals with some heavy themes, such as aging and the importance of family.
