In The Looney Tunes Show season 2 episode 15, titled The Black Widow, Bugs Bunny unwittingly gets himself involved in the investigation of a murder that happens in his home. The episode opens with Bugs, Daffy, and Porky Pig playing a heated game of bridge. Suddenly, a spider appears, causing Porky to scream and knock over the card table. When they look closer, they realize it's not just any spider - it's a black widow.
Just then, Lola Bunny comes over to announce that the neighborhood's resident old lady, Mrs. Worthington, has been found dead. The police suspect foul play, as Mrs. Worthington was a wealthy woman, and her valuable jewelry is missing. The detective on the case, Lieutenant Santini, comes over to question Bugs and his friends, but they don't have any information to offer.
Meanwhile, Bugs continues to find black widow spiders around his house, and he becomes increasingly paranoid that Lola is trying to kill him. He starts to investigate her, and even buys a spy kit to gather evidence. Meanwhile, Daffy is convinced that he's psychic, and he decides to use his newfound abilities to help solve the murder. He helps Santini identify a potential suspect - Marvin the Martian.
Bugs continues to follow Lola around, convinced that she's hiding something. He eventually discovers that she's not a murderer, but she does have a secret - she's been buying up all of the black widow spiders in the neighborhood to save them from being killed. She plans to release them all into a nearby forest where they'll be safe.
Eventually, Bugs and Daffy team up to catch the real killer - a surprise twist that leads them to a surprising culprit. But while the murder mystery is solved, Bugs still has to deal with the black widow infestation in his home. He enlists the help of Sylvester the Cat to catch them all, and the episode ends with Bugs, Daffy, and Porky finally able to finish their bridge game.
Overall, The Black Widow is a fun and lighthearted episode of The Looney Tunes Show, with plenty of zany antics and classic Looney Tunes humor. While the murder mystery plot may not be the most original, it serves as a great backdrop for the characters to bounce off of each other and deliver some great jokes. And of course, it's always entertaining to see Bugs Bunny get into wacky hijinks. Fans of the show and the Looney Tunes franchise as a whole are sure to enjoy this episode.
