Ep 26. Point, Laser Point

In the season 1 finale of The Looney Tunes Show titled "Point, Laser Point," viewers get to see the wacky misadventures of Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck as they become obsessed with a new toy. The episode opens with Bugs and Daffy lounging in their house, bored and looking for something to do. Suddenly, a package arrives containing the latest must-have item- a laser pointer.

As soon as they get their hands on the laser, Bugs and Daffy are immediately consumed by the game of cat and mouse that the pointer offers. Bugs, always the trickster, enjoys watching Daffy run around in circles, trying to catch the elusive laser dot. However, their fun is interrupted when they accidentally laser the TV screen, causing it to break. Now they need to work together to make enough money to buy a new one before their landlord, Yosemite Sam, finds out and kicks them out.

Of course, their attempts to make money are not without a hint of Looney Tunes madness. Daffy decides to become a door-to-door salesman, but his attempts to sell perfume and encyclopedias fall flat. Bugs gives stand-up comedy a try, but his jokes fall flat as well. Eventually, they settle on selling homemade cheese sandwiches at a sports game.

As they head to the game, however, they run into trouble. Daffy becomes distracted by the laser pointer again, causing them to miss their bus. They then encounter Speedy Gonzales, who offers to give them a ride to the game on his motorcycle. However, the ride is anything but smooth, leading to a hilarious chase scene.

Once they arrive at the game, they set up their sandwich stand, but encounter another snag- they have no customers. Just as things seem grim, Bugs sees a group of people heading towards them. However, it soon becomes clear that they are not interested in sandwiches- they are a group of exterminators who have mistaken Daffy's cheese for a rat trap.

Bugs and Daffy are now left with a broken TV, no money, and a lot of leftover sandwiches. However, they are saved by a stroke of luck- a group of aliens land and offer to buy all of their sandwiches. With their newfound fortune, they head home to buy a new TV, only to find that Yosemite Sam has already purchased one for them.

The episode ends with Bugs and Daffy, back to their usual shenanigans, playing with the laser pointer again. While things may not always go their way, they know that they can always count on their friendship and sense of humor to get them through even the toughest of situations.
