The Line is a crime thriller film that was released in 2008. The series centers on the head of the Mexican mob who is actually an operative for the American government. At first, the new mafia boss seems to be the perfect person to keep the trafficking of cocaine in check, but greed quickly makes him decide to start to bring heroine into the US. This results in the American government dispatching a sniper to take out their former operative. In the meantime, the new crime boss finds himself struggling to stay in power as real mobsters attempt to take the throne.
