Ep 7. Don't Let Go of That Hand

Ryner, Ferris, and Sion travel to the town of Ylude to meet with a historian named Estabul. Estabul is known for his vast knowledge of magical artifacts, and Sion hopes to obtain information about a book called "Alpha Stigma." Meanwhile, Ryner and Ferris split up to do some reconnaissance, but Ferris is soon ambushed by a group of assassins. Ryner rushes to her aid and the two engage in battle against their attackers. During the fight, Ryner's Alpha Stigma awakens, causing him to lose control and attack both friend and foe. Ferris manages to calm him down, but Ryner is left feeling guilty and confused about the uncontrollable power within him. The trio eventually reunites with Estabul, who informs them that the Alpha Stigma was created as a weapon for the gods. Sion is determined to uncover more about the origins and purpose of the Alpha Stigma, but is met with resistance from both Estabul and his own advisors, who warn him of the dangers of meddling with ancient magic. As the group considers their next move, they are suddenly attacked by a powerful mage who possesses the Alpha Stigma. Ryner and Ferris once again engage in battle, but this time they are hopelessly outmatched. The episode ends with Ryner and Ferris on the brink of defeat, and Sion unable to intervene due to his lack of combat experience.
