With the community in a state of panic, a town meeting is held to discuss the issue, during which shopkeeper Tubbs Tattsyrup shares her concerns about a strange beast she and her husband encountered in the woods.
Meanwhile, local veterinarian Dr. Chinnery begins investigating the attacks, but his bumbling incompetence hinders his efforts to solve the case.
