Ep 2. 9/4/19 (Marc Maron, Jillian Bell, Keane)

On the second episode of the fifth season of The Late Late Show with James Corden, which aired on September 4, 2019, the host welcomed three guests to the show: comedian and podcaster Marc Maron, actress Jillian Bell and British rock band Keane.

James Corden began the show with his usual opening monologue, making jokes about news events and pop culture, as well as introducing some of the segments that would be featured throughout the night. The show then moved on to its first guest, Marc Maron.

The food items included a pickled pig's foot, a thousand-year-old egg, and a cow's tongue.

The final segment of the show involved another popular game, Carpool Karaoke. This time, Corden was joined by singer-songwriter Alicia Keys for a drive around Los Angeles, singing some of her biggest hits along the way. The segment was filled with laughs and enjoyable singing, as the two discussed the inspiration behind some of Key's songs and stopped to give a brief performance on the sidewalk.
