I won't spoil who it is, but suffice it to say that it's a moment that fans of the series have been waiting for.

The episode ends with the Saxons emerging victorious, but at a great cost. The aftermath of the battle is shown in all its gory detail, with dead bodies littering the ground and survivors struggling to come to terms with what they've been through. Uhtred himself is clearly shaken by the events of the day, and the episode ends on a somber note.

Overall, The Last Kingdom season 3 episode 10 is a fitting finale to what has been an incredibly tense and action-packed season.
