Ep 2. Look Out, Here They Come!

In season 5, episode 2 of The L Word, titled "Look Out, Here They Come!", the drama continues for the group of Los Angeles friends as they navigate their love lives, friendships, and careers.

Bette (Jennifer Beals) is busy with her new job as the dean of the California University of the Arts, but she finds herself falling into some old habits when she starts to develop feelings for a student. Meanwhile, her former partner, Tina (Laurel Holloman), is trying to adjust to her new life as a single mother to their daughter, Angelica.

Shane (Kate Moennig) is dealing with her own romantic problems as she tries to figure out her feelings for her new girlfriend, Paige (Kristanna Loken), while also dealing with the return of her ex-girlfriend, Carmen (Sarah Shahi). Carmen's sudden reappearance throws a wrench into Shane's plans and forces her to confront some difficult emotions.

Alice (Leisha Hailey) is living with her girlfriend, Tasha (Rose Rollins), but she's struggling to adjust to the military lifestyle and the pressure that comes with dating someone in the armed forces. When Tasha's commanding officer comes to visit, Alice's anxiety only gets worse.

Jenny (Mia Kirshner) is dealing with her own personal demons as she struggles with her writing and her mental health. She's also feeling threatened by the arrival of a new writer, Adele (Malaya Rivera Drew), who seems to be taking over the production of Jenny's movie.

As the group of friends continue to navigate their complicated lives, old issues resurface and new problems arise. "Look Out, Here They Come!" sets the stage for another season of drama, heartbreak, and surprising twists.
