Ep 2. Lap Dance

As the title suggests, "Lap Dance" follows a group of women as they explore the world of erotic dancing and strip clubs. The episode opens with Shane (Katherine Moennig) trying to convince her girlfriend Carmen (Sarah Shahi) to perform a lap dance for her. Carmen is hesitant at first, but eventually agrees to give it a try.

Meanwhile, Bette (Jennifer Beals) is struggling to deal with the aftermath of her affair with Candace (Ion Overman). At the club, they run into Shane's estranged father, Gabriel (Eric Roberts), who is there with his new girlfriend, Poppy (Sandra Bernhard). The encounter is awkward, to say the least, but it's clear that Shane is still hurting from her past with her father.

As the night goes on, the group gets caught up in the excitement of the club. Carmen decides to try out her lap dance skills on Alice, while Shane and Gabriel have a heart-to-heart conversation about their relationship. Bette, however, is still struggling with her guilt and ends up getting drunk and making a scene.
