The L Word: Generation Q is a Showtime series that is a continuation of the 2004-2009 show, The L Word. This new iteration features several of the original cast members, including Jennifer Beals, Katherine Moennig, and Leisha Hailey, as well as introducing new characters and storylines.

Set in contemporary Los Angeles, the show follows a diverse group of friends and lovers as they navigate their careers, relationships, and personal struggles. This includes Bette Porter (Beals), who is now running for mayor of Los Angeles; Shane McCutcheon (Moennig), who owns a trendy hair salon; and Alice Pieszecki (Hailey), who hosts a talk show focused on LGBTQ+ issues.
