When they arrive at Archie's burrow, they find that it is cramped and not very comfortable. Archie is feeling unhappy and wants to find a new home.
Frank and Buster decide to help Archie find a new home and they set out to explore the outback. They meet a number of different animals, including a family of kangaroos, a group of emus, and a family of possums. They ask each group of animals if they know of any good homes that are available.
After exploring for a while, Frank, Buster, and Archie stumble upon an abandoned water tower. It is tall and spacious, and Archie thinks it would make a great new home. However, they soon realize that the water tower is too high for Archie to climb up to.
As they try to figure out what to do, they meet a helpful kookaburra named Mitzi. Mitzi suggests that they build a ladder so that Archie can climb up to the water tower. Frank and Buster think this is a great idea, and they all set to work building a ladder out of branches and vines.
After a lot of hard work, the ladder is finally finished. Archie is overjoyed to be able to climb up to his new home, and he thanks his friends for all of their help. Frank and Buster are happy to have been able to help their friend find a new home and they head back to their home in the outback.
