Ray Barone, the character played by Ray Romano on his hit show, "Everybody Loves Raymond," drops in on "The King of Queens" in this episode titled "Raygin Bulls." Ray is in town for a book signing and decides to stay with his friend, Doug's arch-nemesis, Deacon. This leaves Doug feeling left out and jealous, sending him on a mission to win back Ray's attention.
Doug starts by throwing a party for Ray at his house, but things quickly go awry when Doug's dad, Arthur, shows up and ruins everything. Ray ends up spending the night with Deacon instead of Doug. The next day, Doug and Ray have plans to go to a private baseball game, but things take another dramatic turn when the car Doug rented breaks down and they are forced to hitch a ride with a couple of cowboys who are trucking cattle across New York City.
Doug and Ray find themselves in the middle of a cattle drive through the busy streets of New York, dodging angry drivers and nearly getting trampled by the cattle. Finally, they end up at a bar where they share a few drinks and some laughs. Meanwhile, Doug's wife, Carrie, is left at home with Arthur and her own feelings of jealousy over Ray's visit.
In the end, Doug and Ray have a heart-to-heart talk, and Doug realizes that his jealousy has been misplaced. He apologizes to Ray and the two reconcile.
