When Doug and Carrie's bed collapses during a romantic evening, they set out to buy a new one. But with so many choices, they struggle to agree on the perfect mattress. Meanwhile, Arthur believes he has found the solution to his financial problems by investing in a pyramid scheme. As he tries to recruit his family members to join, they become increasingly suspicious, leading to an unexpected outcome. With their bed-shopping woes and Arthur's shady scheme, the Heffernans find themselves offtrack in more ways than one.
