Doug and Carrie plan to treat themselves to a romantic weekend away at a hidden bed & breakfast. However, their plans quickly get derailed when Doug's parents surprise them with a visit. Meanwhile, Spence loans Arthur $2,000 to pay off a loan shark, but quickly becomes frustrated when Arthur fails to pay him back in a timely manner. As the weekend progresses, tensions rise as Doug and Carrie try to balance their romantic getaway with family obligations and Arthur's financial troubles.
