Carrie is feeling burdened and stressed out with the amount of housework she has to do when Doug suggests that they should get a cleaning lady. The couple hires the cleaning lady, Jung, who is not only efficient but also speaks no English. Hence, the couple struggles to communicate with her.

Meanwhile, Arthur takes advantage of the fact that Doug and Carrie are out of the house and starts going through their personal belongings. He finds a mask and, trying to be funny, puts it on and scares Jung. The couple discovers this and Doug is pleased to have a new joke for his friends, but Carrie is concerned that Jung may have been offended.

Doug tries to make amends by apologizing to Jung, but the language barrier causes further confusion. He tries to impress her by speaking in broken Korean, which she seems to enjoy. Doug gets carried away and starts picking up Korean phrases from the internet to impress Jung. Arthur, who has now also picked up a few phrases, introduces himself to Jung in Korean, but Jung fails to recognize him.

Unbeknownst to Doug, Jung has misinterpreted his words and is now under the impression that he has invited her to a romantic dinner at his home. When she arrives at their house, Doug is shocked and tries to explain that there has been a misunderstanding, but Jung is insistent. She even brings a gift for Doug, which he mistakes for Korean food, but it is actually a live lobster.

Doug and Carrie try to deal with the situation by including their friends in the dinner plans, hoping to make it less awkward. However, things only get worse when the lobster escapes and starts running around the house. The situation escalates when Doug's friends misinterpret the intentions of the dinner, and they all start teasing Doug, thinking he's having an affair. The misunderstanding is cleared when Jung rushes to the rescue, and together they catch the lobster.

At the end of the episode, Jung thanks Doug and Carrie for the fun evening and the couple is impressed by how hard-working and committed Jung is to her job. They offer her a permanent job, which she accepts. Another day, Doug tries to tell her he had another fun time, but she tells him that was enough fun and gets back to working.
