Ep 21. Departure Time

Doug and Carrie plan a weekend trip to Florida together, but their plans are changed when one of Doug's friends invites him to a bachelor party in Memphis. Doug initially declines, but Carrie encourages him to go. Meanwhile, Arthur is left alone in the house for the weekend and struggles to find things to do. He eventually discovers an old globe that belongs to Doug and becomes obsessed with it, imagining himself as a world traveler. As Doug prepares to leave for Memphis, Carrie becomes increasingly jealous of his friends and the perceived thrill of their trip. However, when Doug arrives in Memphis, he discovers that the bachelor party is actually a more subdued event than he had anticipated, and he begins to feel homesick. Carrie, meanwhile, is left alone in Florida and finds herself bored and lonely without Doug. The two begin to realize how much they rely on each other and the importance of spending time together. As they make their way back home, they come up with a plan to have more fun and adventure in their own city, rather than constantly seeking it elsewhere.
