Doug and Carrie are both looking for new hobbies to occupy their free time, and they stumble upon the idea of becoming food critics. They decide to visit and review every restaurant on Arthur's block, which he dubs "Restaurant Row." At first, their reviews are positive and they enjoy sampling all the different cuisines, but things quickly turn sour when the restaurants start to take their critiques personally. Doug and Carrie try to remain objective, but their relationship with the restaurateurs becomes increasingly strained. Meanwhile, Arthur is dealing with his own culinary crisis when he realizes that he can no longer taste his food and fears he may have lost his sense of taste forever. He enlists Spence's help in trying to figure out what's wrong with him. As Doug and Carrie continue their culinary quest, they have to navigate tricky social waters as they try to balance their personal relationships with their role as food critics. Will they be able to stay impartial, or will their friendships with the restaurant owners cloud their judgement? And will Arthur ever be able to taste his beloved clams again? Find out in this hilarious episode of The King of Queens.
