The Jeffersons season 9 episode 7, titled "A Date With Danger," follows the lives of George and Louise Jefferson, a wealthy, African-American couple who own a chain of dry-cleaning stores. In this episode, the Jeffersons attend a black-tie fundraiser event for a charitable organization called "AIDS Crusade." At the event, George meets a beautiful woman named Jackie. George and Jackie hit it off immediately, and she asks him out on a date.

Louise is not too pleased about George's newfound love interest, and she doesn't trust Jackie. Louise senses that something is off about her and warns George to be careful. George ignores Louise's concerns and goes on the date with Jackie anyways. The date starts off well enough, with the couple enjoying a nice dinner at a fancy restaurant. However, things quickly turn dangerous when Jackie reveals that she is actually a con artist trying to swindle George out of his money.

Unbeknownst to George, Jackie has been working with a criminal gang to lure wealthy men to dinner, drug them, and rob them of their valuables. George becomes suspicious when Jackie orders him another drink, and he begins to feel lightheaded and dizzy. He realizes that he has been drugged and confronts Jackie. She tries to make a run for it, but George catches her and turns her over to the police. Throughout the episode, the Jeffersons also deal with other pressing family issues, including the return of their adult son Lionel and his plans to move to Japan with his new girlfriend.

The Jeffersons was a groundbreaking sitcom that aired from 1975-1985. The show featured an all-black cast and revolved around the lives of the Jeffersons, an upper-class African-American family that had recently moved from a working-class neighborhood to a luxury high-rise apartment on Manhattan's East Side. The show tackled issues of race, class, and gender in a humorous and relatable way, and it remains a beloved classic of 1970s and 1980s television.

Season 9 of The Jeffersons was the show's final season, and it aired in 1984-1985. "A Date With Danger" was the seventh episode of the season, and it originally aired on November 25, 1984. The episode was directed by Bob Lally and written by Elias Davis and David Pollock, two of the show's regular writers.

Overall, "A Date With Danger" is a classic example of The Jeffersons' mix of comedy and social commentary. The episode tackles the issue of dating and trust in relationships, as well as the dangers of greed and materialism. The Jeffersons remains a landmark in television history, and "A Date With Danger" is a standout episode from the show's final season.
