The IT Crowd is a hilarious British/ comedy TV sitcom that has a cast of hilarious and sometimes odd characters who get themselves in their fair share of problems. The It Crowd was created by Graham Linehan who thought of the hilarious plot and composed the story lines of the episodes. This show is brought to life by the acting of the vivid cast members including: Matt Berry, Katherine Parkinson, Richard Ayoade and Chris O' Dowd.

The plot of the show is centered around the work filled business IT department and three workers with distinct personalities: A typical nerd whose mother packed his lunch and chooses his clothing, a slacker who mooches of others and an unknowledgeable and inexperienced over-her-head worker. This show, with its crazy stunts and typical daily struggles, has captivated many people and have millions of viewers hooked.

This show has a list of colorful characters including:
Roy Trennema- He is a laid back and a lazy IT worker who comes from a small part of Ireland. Roy is commonly portrayed as the person who always takes advantage of others so he won't have to work or lessen his load of work. But because of karma, Roy always gets himself injured or is distressed throughout the show.

Maurice Moss- Look at the dictionary and see the definition of nerd because that is Maurice's personality. He fits the stereotype of a nerd to-a-t because he lives with his overprotective mother and he always feels socially distressed.

Jen Barber- an It worker who claims she is experienced and well prepared, but in reality, Jen is completely incompetent and can barely type on a computer.

Douglas Reynholed- The founder of Reynholed Industries, Douglas surprisingly has no IT knowledge.

Richmond Avenal- He is a bright and successful business man who had a bright future ahead of him-that is until he discovered the Cradle of Filth and became a Goth. Because of this sudden changed, his success as a business man soon plummeted. But, later Richmond soon created his own Goth-based company called Goth2VBoss. Because of his success, he dedicated his life to showing Goths that they too can have a bright future despite their differences.

The IT Crowd is a series that ran for 5 seasons (25 episodes) between February 3, 2006 and on Channel 4
