David Banner takes a job at a horse camp in Wyoming, hoping to gain some peace and solitude. However, his tranquility is shattered when he meets a troubled young boy named Jake. Jake is aggressive and hostile, and seems to harbor a deep-seated anger that David can't quite understand.
Despite his rough demeanor, David feels a connection to Jake, and tries to reach out to him. As he spends more time with the boy, he realizes that Jake has been through a lot in his young life, and is struggling to cope with the trauma he has experienced.
Meanwhile, a group of local ranchers have been experiencing a series of unexplained and increasingly violent incidents, including a rash of cattle mutilations. Some suspect a local Native American tribe is responsible, while others believe it may be the work of a wild animal.
As the violence escalates and tensions rise, David begins to suspect that Jake may be somehow involved in the attacks. But when a group of ranchers attack Jake, the boy flees into the wilderness, pursued by an angry mob.
Desperate to save Jake and clear his name, David transforms into the Hulk and sets out into the wilderness to find the boy. But as he gets closer to Jake, he realizes that the true enemy may be something much more sinister and dangerous than any of them had suspected.
In the end, David and the Hulk must use all their strength and skill to protect Jake and bring the true culprit to justice, before the violence spirals out of control and innocent lives are lost. But as they reflect on the events of the past few days, David and Jake realize that sometimes the most dangerous monsters are the ones that lurk within us all.
