David Banner, who has been on the run for years, finds himself working in a factory where he is constantly bullied by his supervisor, Joe. One day, Joe assigns David to work on a potentially dangerous machine and threatens to fire him if he doesn't complete the task in nine hours.
David is wary of the machine but doesn't want to lose his job, so he begins to work on it despite his reservations. However, his worst fears are realized when the machine malfunctions and he becomes trapped inside. His body absorbs dangerous amounts of radiation and he transforms into the Hulk.
The Hulk breaks free from the machine and begins to cause chaos in the factory. David, who has no control over the Hulk, feels guilty for the destruction caused by his alter ego. Meanwhile, Joe uses the situation to his advantage by claiming that David deliberately caused the accident and ensuring that he will be fired and arrested.
As the Hulk continues to wreak havoc, David seeks refuge in an unused part of the factory. He tries to find a way to reverse the effects of the radiation and transform back into his human form before it's too late. However, he only has nine hours before the radiation will become fatal.
With the clock ticking, David frantically searches for a solution while the Hulk continues to rampage through the factory. He is aided by a sympathetic coworker, Joyce, who believes in his innocence and wants to help him clear his name.
Together, David and Joyce work to find a way to reverse the effects of the radiation and stop the Hulk before it's too late. They are also pursued by Joe, who is determined to see David punished for the accident.
As the nine-hour deadline approaches, David and Joyce race against time to find a solution and save both David and the factory from the Hulk's devastation. Will they be successful, or will David be forced to live as the Hulk forever? The answer lies in the gripping season 3 finale episode of The Incredible Hulk, Nine Hours.
