Ep 8. A Twitch in Time

In the thirteenth season of The Incredible Dr. Pol, we follow the titular Dr. Jan Pol as he continues to run his veterinary practice in rural Michigan. In episode eight, titled "A Twitch in Time," we see Dr. Pol facing a variety of cases that keep him and his team on their toes.

Dr. Pol examines the horse and determines that the cause of the pain is likely a spinal injury. He administers pain medication and recommends that the horse be kept in a stall for the next few days to rest and recover.

As if that weren't enough, Dr. Pol and his team are also called out to another farm where a pair of ducks are in need of medical attention. One of the ducks has a severe respiratory infection, while the other has an injured leg. Dr. Pol and his team examine both ducks and determine that they need to be separated and treated individually. They administer antibiotics to the duck with the respiratory infection, and bandage the leg of the other duck.

Finally, Dr. Pol and his team are called to a farm where a cow is struggling to give birth. The calf is in an awkward position, making it difficult for the cow to push it out. Dr. Pol and his team work quickly to assist the cow in giving birth to the calf, and manage to do so successfully. Both the cow and calf are healthy and doing well after the delivery.

Throughout the episode, we see Dr. Pol and his team working tirelessly to help animals in need, often in challenging and unpredictable circumstances. Whether they're dealing with a mysterious limp, a rambunctious pair of dogs, or a difficult horse birth, Dr. Pol and his team approach each case with a combination of skill, expertise, and compassion.
