In this episode, Simon is desperate to impress his new girlfriend Tara and decides to take her to see a gig with the rest of the gang. However, things quickly begin to go wrong when they struggle to find the venue and Simon's attempts to impress Tara fall flat. Meanwhile, Jay tries to convince everyone that he knows the band personally and tries to blag his way backstage.

As they finally arrive at the gig, things continue to go awry when the group is separated and must navigate through the crowded venue to find each other. Simon's frustrations with Tara begin to mount as he becomes increasingly jealous of her ex-boyfriend, who also happens to be at the gig.

Jay's attempts to get backstage ultimately fail and he ends up making a fool of himself, while Neil unexpectedly finds himself in a comfortable situation with one of the band members. Eventually, the group is reunited and they all enjoy the gig together, although Simon is left feeling disillusioned and insecure about his relationship with Tara.

Overall, this episode features plenty of classic Inbetweeners humor, as the gang once again find themselves in awkward and embarrassing situations. The focus on Simon's relationship with Tara brings some fresh drama to the show, and there are plenty of laughs to be had as the boys get themselves into all sorts of scrapes at the gig.
