In the season 1 finale of The Hive, three different storylines unfold. In "Useful Bee," Buzzbee wants to feel useful so he volunteers to help Postman Spider with his deliveries. However, his eagerness leads to some mistakes and chaos. Meanwhile, in "Babee's First Word," Mama Bee is eagerly awaiting the moment when her youngest, Babee, will say her first word. She enlists the help of her friends to try and encourage Babee to speak, but things don't go exactly as planned. Finally, in "Buzzbee's Babysitter," Grandma Bee comes to visit and offers to babysit Buzzbee and Rubee while their parents are out. But when Buzzbee tries to impress her with his "grown-up" skills, things quickly spiral out of control.
The first segment, "Useful Bee," focuses on Buzzbee's desire to contribute and help out in any way he can. When Postman Spider asks for volunteers to help with his deliveries, Buzzbee jumps at the chance. However, his excitement gets the best of him, and he ends up delivering the wrong letters and packages to the wrong recipients. This leads to a bit of chaos and confusion in the Hive, but in the end, Buzzbee learns a valuable lesson about taking his time and being careful.
In "Babee's First Word," Mama Bee is eager to hear her youngest child speak. She enlists the help of her friends to try and encourage Babee to say her first word, but to no avail. However, when Mama Bee accidentally drops something and says "uh oh," Babee repeats the phrase, much to everyone's delight. This leads to a heartwarming moment where everyone gathers around Babee and cheers her on as she says her first word.
Finally, in "Buzzbee's Babysitter," Grandma Bee comes to visit and offers to watch over Buzzbee and Rubee while their parents are out. Buzzbee is eager to show off his "grown-up" skills and takes it upon himself to make sure everything runs smoothly. However, his attempts to be responsible end up causing more problems than they solve. When Grandma Bee gently reminds him that it's okay to be a kid and have fun, Buzzbee learns another valuable lesson - it's important to strike a balance between responsibility and play.
