In The Hills season 6 episode 8, titled "Can't Always Get What You Want," the drama continues to unfold as the stars of the show navigate their relationships and careers in Los Angeles.
As always, the episode follows multiple storylines. One of the biggest is the aftermath of Audrina's big fight with Kristin. The two women continue to avoid each other, with tension running high whenever they do cross paths. Audrina confides in Lo and Stephanie about how hurt she is, but ultimately decides that she needs to move on from the whole situation.
Meanwhile, Heidi and Spencer are facing their own challenges as they try to repair their relationship. Spencer is still working to show Heidi that he's serious about making changes and being a better partner, but it's not always easy. The couple goes on a date to ride ATVs, but the fun is short-lived when Spencer gets into an altercation with a stranger. Heidi is disappointed in Spencer's behavior, and they have a serious talk about their future together.
Elsewhere, Brody is dealing with some relationship drama of his own. He invites his ex-girlfriend Kristin to his housewarming party, and things quickly get complicated. Kristin is still interested in Brody, but he's not sure if he's ready to move on from his current relationship. The tension between Kristin, Brody, and his girlfriend Jayde makes for an uncomfortable evening, and Brody is left wondering what his next move should be.
Another major storyline in this episode centers around Stephanie. She's been struggling to find her footing in Los Angeles and figure out what she wants to do with her life. She decides to call her brother Spencer for advice, but their conversation quickly turns sour when Spencer accuses her of not trying hard enough. Stephanie is left feeling depressed and defeated, and she turns to Lo for comfort.
As always, the episode is full of drama and unexpected twists, as the stars of The Hills continue to navigate their complicated lives in the spotlight. Ultimately, the episode serves as a reminder that even when you can't always get what you want, sometimes you end up with exactly what you need.
