Mabius said the investigator was thorough, using all sorts of devices to try and find evidence of a ghostly presence. The investigator found high levels of electromagnetic activity in a room where nothing was plugged in. That was enough for Mabius to believe that what he and his family had been experiencing was indeed paranormal.

At the end of the episode, Mabius recounts how the investigator managed to clear the house of ghosts. The actor is now able to live in peace knowing that whatever was haunting him and his family is gone. The episode ends with Mabius stating that he is much more comfortable now that his house is no longer haunted.
