Gumbasia / Moon Trip / Gumby on the Moon / Trapped on the Moon is the first episode of The Gumby Show's first season. This classic children's show features Gumby, a green humanoid clay figure, and his various adventures.

In Gumbasia, the show opens with an artistic short film featuring abstract shapes and movements set to classical music, showcasing the creative abilities of the claymation art form.

Next, in Moon Trip, Gumby and his friend Pokey decide to take a trip to the moon. They climb into a spaceship and blast off, excitedly exploring the moon's surface upon their arrival. While on the moon, they meet a friendly alien and engage in a game of moon golf.

Gumby on the Moon continues the moon-themed adventures, as Gumby and Pokey discover a mysterious cave filled with strange glowing crystals. They quickly realize that they are not alone on the moon, as they encounter a group of hostile moon creatures known as Selenites, who trap Gumby and Pokey with their ray guns.

Finally, in Trapped on the Moon, Gumby and Pokey must use their wits and problem-solving skills to escape from the cave and evade the Selenites. They eventually succeed and, relieved to be back in their spaceship, return to Earth safely.
