The Guild season 2 episode 2, titled "Block'd," follows the continuing adventures of Codex and her guildmates in the massively multiplayer online game they play. The episode opens with Codex trying to organize a raid for the guild, but she is quickly sidetracked by the arrival of Tink, whom she almost accidentally kills with a hairdryer. After getting Tink patched up, Codex explains to her that the guild needs to recruit more players if they want to start doing bigger raids.
They decide to try and recruit a player named Bladezz, who is known for his impressive rap videos about the game. The problem is, Bladezz has blocked all of the guild members, so they can't contact him. Codex decides to try and unblock him by creating a fake account and befriending him, but he sees through her ruse and refuses to unblock her.
Meanwhile, Clara is dealing with a personal crisis of her own. Her husband is pressuring her to have another baby, but she's not sure she's ready for another one. She confides in Vork about her concerns, and he suggests using the in-game scenario editor to create a virtual baby that she can take care of. Clara takes his advice and spends the episode caring for her digital offspring, while also trying to persuade her husband to wait a little while longer before trying for another baby.
Back in the game, Codex has a breakthrough in her quest to unblock Bladezz. She discovers that he's been blocked by another player named Fawkes, who is a member of a rival guild. The Guild decides to challenge Fawkes and his guild to a PvP match, with the winner being the team that kills the other team's king. The stakes are high, and tensions are running even higher as the two guilds face off in an epic battle.
Overall, "Block'd" is a fun and fast-paced episode that showcases the comedic and gaming talents of the cast. It's an entertaining look at the world of MMORPGs and the friendships (and rivalries) that can be found within them. Whether you're a hardcore gamer or just someone who enjoys a good laugh, "Block'd" is sure to be a hit.
