Billy and Mandy return for another crazy adventure with the Grim Reaper in episode 10 of season 4, titled "He's Not Dead, He's My Mascot/Hog Wild." In the first half of the episode, Billy creates a new school mascot out of an old ham sandwich, much to the chagrin of the school's principal. Despite the principal's objections, Billy's mascot becomes wildly popular among the other students, and soon the basketball team is winning games left and right thanks to the sandwich's mystical powers.
But when the sandwich starts to rot and the powers begin to fade, Billy realizes that he's made a grave mistake. In his desperation to keep the team's winning streak alive, he decides to sneak into the morgue and steal a fresh corpse to replace the old sandwich mascot. Of course, things quickly spiral out of control from there, with the corpse reanimating and wreaking havoc throughout the school.
Meanwhile, in the second half of the episode, Billy's dad unwittingly unleashes a herd of wild hogs on the town. With the hogs rampaging through the streets and causing all sorts of chaos, it's up to Billy, Mandy, and Grim to come up with a plan to stop them before they can cause any more damage.
As always, the episode is filled with plenty of wacky hijinks and zany humor, along with a healthy dose of dark and twisted imagery. Whether they're dealing with reanimated corpses or rampaging hogs, Billy, Mandy, and Grim always manage to find a way to save the day (even if it's not always the most conventional method).
Overall, "He's Not Dead, He's My Mascot/Hog Wild" is a solid addition to The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy's already impressive roster of episodes. With its mix of surreal humor, offbeat storytelling, and genuinely creepy moments, it's sure to please fans of the show and newcomers alike. So if you're in the mood for some irreverent and downright bizarre animated comedy, be sure to check out this, and other, episodes of The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy.
