In season 1 episode 14 of The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy entitled "Something Stupid This Way Comes / Grim Surprise," Billy and Mandy find themselves in a bit of trouble when they accidentally summon a supernatural vending machine that dispenses cursed items. The two unsuspecting friends are thrilled at first, but soon realize that the cursed items they receive are causing chaos and destruction all around them.

Meanwhile, Grim is dealing with his own surprise when he discovers that he has a birthday. Meanwhile, Grim is struggling to keep his birthday celebration under control as he is bombarded by unwanted gifts and party guests. Just when things seem like they can't get any worse, Billy and Irwin present Grim with their ultimate birthday surprise - a giant robot built in his image.

With chaos and mayhem erupting on all fronts, Billy, Mandy, and Grim must band together to overcome the obstacles in their path and restore order to their lives.
