In season 8 episode 2 of The Great British Bake Off, also known as Biscuit Week, the contestants are challenged to show off their skills in making biscuits of all kinds. With a Bake Off signature challenge to create a batch of 24 identical decorated biscuits, the bakers must present unique designs while ensuring that the biscuits remain crisp and flavourful. The technical challenge involves making the notoriously difficult Viennese whirls where creamy buttery fillings are sandwiched between two delicate buttery biscuits.

In the final challenge, each of the contestants is required to create an edible biscuit box filled with 36 biscuits. The boxes must contain at least two different types of biscuits and be able to stand upright while being transported to the judging table.

As always, judges Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood are on the lookout for the best bakes, with one contestant being awarded the title of Star Baker after impressing the judges with their creativity, skill, and flavours.

With the pressure on, nerves run high as the bakers work to meet all of the challenges, creating unique and delicious bakes to stay in the competition for another week. The Great British Bake Off season 8 episode 2 Biscuit Week showcases some of the most impressive biscuit-making skills, putting these bakers to the test in true Bake Off fashion.
