Alicia and Cary's new firm continues to find its footing in this episode of The Good Wife. The firm is hired to represent a drummer who was injured in a workplace accident and is seeking workers' compensation. While the insurance company disputes the claim, the lawyers are able to prove that the company was at fault.
Meanwhile, Kalinda is dealing with her own legal troubles. Her estranged husband has resurfaced and is seeking a divorce. He also threatens to expose her involvement with a drug trafficker from her past. Kalinda tries to keep the situation under control, but things quickly spiral out of hand.
At the same time, Alicia is struggling to balance her work life and her personal life. Her husband Peter is running for governor again and is constantly in the public eye. Meanwhile, Alicia is trying to juggle her duties as a lawyer and her responsibilities as a mother. When her son Zach is suspended from school, Alicia is forced to put her career on hold to be there for him.
