Alicia's latest case involves defending a woman who allegedly gave her fiance a fatal dose of medication in order to inherit his wealth. As the trial progresses, Alicia begins to uncover some dark secrets about her client and must navigate how to handle this information in the courtroom. Meanwhile, Peter's campaign for State's Attorney takes a hit when a former employee accuses him of sexual harassment and Alicia is tasked with handling the situation. Will and Diane also find themselves in hot water when they discover a mistake made by their new associate, which could cost the firm millions of dollars. Amidst all of this, Alicia reflects on the choices she's made throughout her life and struggles with the right path to take moving forward.
