Dr. Shaun Murphy (Freddie Highmore) is back in action on The Good Doctor Season 1 Episode 7, titled "22 Steps." In this installment, the surgical resident finds himself a new patient in the form of a young man named Evan Gallico (Mackenzie Astin), who suffers from an incredibly rare genetic condition that causes him to randomly, and uncontrollably, break bones.
As Dr. Murphy works to diagnose and treat the patient's condition, he quickly realizes that it is a much more complicated issue than he initially thought. With the help of his mentor, Dr. Aaron Glassman (Richard Schiff), and the rest of the surgical team at San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital, the young doctor sets out to find a way to help Evan before it's too late.
Along the way, Dr. Murphy faces some unexpected challenges, including a fellow resident who doesn't believe that he is qualified to be working in a hospital, and an overprotective mother who wants to control every aspect of her son's treatment.
Despite all of these obstacles, Dr. Murphy remains focused on his patient, determined to find a way to help him live a normal life despite his condition. Will he be able to pull it off, or will his unconventional methods land him in hot water once again?
As always, The Good Doctor Season 1 Episode 7 promises to be filled with heartwarming moments, emotional revelations, and plenty of pulse-pounding action. Fans of the show won't want to miss this latest installment in one of the most exciting medical dramas on television today.
