Hey, Look Me Over opens with the four beloved ladies of The Golden Girls gathered around the kitchen table, discussing a recent investment that Dorothy has made in a junkyard. Rose is instantly excited at the prospect of visiting the junkyard, and all of the girls decide to make a day of it.
While at the junkyard, the girls stumble upon an abandoned plane, and decide to pitch in and purchase it with the intention of turning it into a vacation home. Despite their initial enthusiasm, money becomes tight and tensions begin to rise as the project proves to be more expensive than they originally anticipated.
Meanwhile, Sophia receives news that her sister Angela has passed away and left her a substantial inheritance. However, Sophia discovers that her inheritance has strings attached when she's required to spend time with Angela's obnoxious son, Angelo.
As the girls continue to work on their ambitious project, they each confront their own personal struggles. Blanche is feeling her age and grappling with the idea of growing old alone, while Dorothy worries about her upcoming teaching evaluations and realizes she may need to make some changes to her teaching style. Rose is confronted with the reality of her husband's recent passing and the fact that she may need to move on with her life.
Through it all, the ladies support each other with their trademark wit and humor. In true Golden Girls style, Hey, Look Me Over explores the ups and downs of friendship, aging, and personal growth while continuing to delight audiences with its beloved characters and sharp writing.
