As Halloween approaches, Beverly is determined to create the scariest haunted house in the neighborhood. However, when she discovers that Adam and his friends have their own haunted house planned, Beverly becomes determined to outdo them. Meanwhile, Erica and her college friends are haunted by a ghostly figure in their dorm room and seek help from Barry, who fancies himself an expert in all things supernatural. As the two storylines converge, the Goldbergs must confront their fears and face the possibility of encountering a real ghost. Will they be able to overcome their terror and save Halloween?
