Beverly starts to feel left out when Murray bonds with Adam over sports and the two have a shared interest in the Philadelphia Eagles. Beverly tries to find a way to connect with her son, but her attempts fall short and she ends up embarrassing him in front of his friends. Meanwhile, Barry ends up getting a fake ID in the hopes of impressing a girl at a party, but things quickly spiral out of control when he gets into trouble with the law. Through it all, the Goldberg family tries to navigate their way through the ups and downs of everyday life in the 1980s.
